About

The beginning of 2017 marks a special time on my calendar. I was looking for a job for 6 months and constantly knocking on the doors of recruiters to find a way. I was rejected from every opportunity and had to remain persistent to find the job I love.

One day I scrolled down my Facebook feed and came across a quote by Confucius:

“It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.”

Now this had my attention. Something about this quote unlocked a hidden realm of possibility. Alongside my job search, I decided to do research on Confucius and understand his teachings. I found a lot of content that gave me motivation to keep me ticking.

So I sat down and thought “what’s the best way to give this feeling to the people around me?” I decided to create a blog to empower the people around with facts and uplifting content to explain the modern world.

Through great research, I coined “The Urban Confucius”:

Urban – In, relating to, or characteristic of a town or city.

Confucius – Confucius was an influential Chinese philosopher, teacher and political figure known for his popular aphorisms and for his models of social interaction.

The Urban Confucius ideology is to penetrate parochial thinking and enlighten people living in the urban world. It’s a place for knowledge empowerment, education, and highlights relevant content that touches everyday life. I aim to provide the tools to help society prosper in a positive way through written materials and motivational content.

I hope you like the blog and please share with your friends.
